Unable to access free Apps from App Store? Here is the remedy..
You can create iTunes account without giving your credit card details now by using payment option as None while creating account in iTunes. There is nothing out of box you have to do… Just give any US address as you mailing address and it will create free iTunes account for you.
Here is steps you need to follow:
1. Open iTunes (I tried it with iTunes
2. Go to iTunes store.
3. Go to (search) free App you want to download and click on that.
4. Click on Get App.
5. Click on create new account.
6. Click continue two times.
7. Fill in your personal details (email id, password etc)
8. Click payment option as new.
9.You will sent an email by iTunes, Verify your account by clicking on the link provided in the mail.
10. Congrats!!!! you have got your iTunes account without exposing your credit card details….
This works outside US too. Enjoy free Apps at App Store….

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but it doesn’t work for me!!
I’m following the steps (which are even outlined in the apple support site http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534) . I’m trying to download a free app, then i click continue 2x, I provide some personal data for the account (password etc..) then I click continue, I choose “none” as payment option, fill out the rest and click “continue” and then this (damn) form says me that I did not fill out everything correctly: You did not specify your credit card number”
Note: When clicking on payment option = “none” there is not even a field for the credit-card number, it is hidden of course. If my eyes this is a bug in the form!
Any help is VERY appreciated!
Thanks
